The Events feature allows users to view and join Events that may be of interest to the user or the user's connections.
Join an Event (without a QR Code)
Global Menu > Events > All Events
A user must join an Event for the Event to appear on a subscribed Calendar.
1. Click on Events in the Global Menu.
2. Choose the specific Event of interest.
3. Click Join Event.
If an Event has reached the maximum number of Event attendees, a user may Join an Event Waitlist.
A user may also remove themselves from an Event Waitlist.
A user will receive a notification if they have been added to an Event and removed from an Event Waitlist.
Join an Event (with a QR Code)
A user must have the mobile app for the platform installed on a mobile device to complete check-in using a QR code.
1. Navigate to the specific Event.
2. Select Check-in.
3. Enter the 6-digit passcode provided by the Event creator.
4. Click Submit.
Successful completion of passcode entry and check-in will be indicated by the green "Checked in" button.
A user may also scan the Event QR code provided by the Event creator with a mobile device and the platform app to check in to the Event.
1. Select Absent...
2. Select a Reason for Absence.
3. Click Submit.
